Trainings – Wayside Equity Center

Our trainings are open to staff, interns, visiting professionals, families, and caregivers of Wayside clients, as well as the public. They are designed to enhance mental health services for our clients, families, and communities, featuring experts in mental health, wellness, substance abuse, racial justice, and activism. Additionally, we offer a series of webinars focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion. Most trainings are available via Zoom.

Training Format

Participants have the option to turn their camera off except during a breakout session and participants will be muted. Questions may be submitted via chat unless in a breakout session.

Closed captioning is available for all of the trainings English subtitles are available for all trainings. Participants who wish to use closed captioning/English subtitles must turn on closed captioning at the start of the training.

Cost

Currently, the fee for the public to attend trainings $75.00 (cash/check/credit at time of online registration). Family and/or caregivers of Wayside clients can attend at no charge if they are registered by a member of Wayside’s staff.

Continuing Education Credits

Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) are available at the conclusion of the training. One credit per hour of training will be awarded to MSW’s, LMFTs and LMHCs. CEU recipients must sign in and out at registration and attend the training in its entirety. No partial credit will be given.
